1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using PageWalker, you agree to be bound by these
Terms of Use and our
Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You represent that you are legally able to enter into these terms,
or that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted them
on your behalf where applicable.
Unless we expressly publish an official localized version of these
Terms, the English version on this page controls.
2. Your account and eligibility
You are responsible for information you provide to us, for
maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and
for activity that occurs through your account.
You agree to use accurate information, keep your login details
secure, and notify us promptly if you believe your account or
device has been compromised.
3. License to use PageWalker
Subject to these Terms, PageWalker grants you a limited,
non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to access and
use the website and app for your personal, lawful, non-commercial
use.
This license does not allow you to copy, resell, sublicense,
redistribute, or make the service available to others as a hosted
or automated product, except where we expressly allow it in
writing.
If you obtained the iOS app through the App Store, your use of the
installed application is also subject to Apple App Store rules and
any Apple end-user terms that are mandatory for App Store
distribution.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use PageWalker to:
- break the law or violate another person's rights, privacy, or intellectual property;
- reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the service except where applicable law clearly permits it;
- scrape, extract, or reproduce our non-public datasets, prompts, UI assets, or service logic at scale;
- upload malware, abuse support channels, impersonate others, or attempt unauthorized access;
- use AI dialogue, translation, or story features to create harmful, deceptive, or infringing material.
5. Content, books, and intellectual property
PageWalker, our branding, interface, generated art, feature
design, software, and service presentation are owned by us or our
licensors and are protected by law.
Some literary works referenced in the service may be in the public
domain, but our curated presentation, adaptations, illustrations,
feature design, and interactive experience remain protected.
6. AI, translation, and learning features
Translation, vocabulary, pronunciation guidance, and character
dialogue are offered for informational, educational, and
entertainment purposes. They may be incomplete, stylized, or
inaccurate.
You should not rely on these features as legal, medical,
financial, academic, or other professional advice. You remain
responsible for how you use generated outputs and learning
suggestions.
7. Purchases, subscriptions, and availability
Some features may require a purchase, subscription, or app-store
account. Pricing, billing, renewals, refunds, and payment handling
may be managed by Apple or another platform provider and remain
subject to that provider's rules.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, books, worlds, or
parts of the service at any time, including to improve quality,
comply with law, or protect the platform.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe
you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users,
exposed us to legal liability, or misused the service.
You may stop using PageWalker at any time. Sections that should by
their nature survive termination, including intellectual property,
disclaimers, and limitation of liability provisions, will survive.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PageWalker is provided on
an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the
service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or
available in every region, language, or device environment.
We may offer bug fixes, updates, and improvements, but we are not
obligated to make every feature continuously available forever.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PageWalker and its
affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable
for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or
punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or
business opportunity arising from or related to your use of the
service.
If we are found liable despite the above limitation, our aggregate
liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us
for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose or
USD 50, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will
post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date.
Your continued use of PageWalker after the revised Terms become
effective means you accept the updated Terms.
